How should yahoo deal with spam and other unwanted annoyances?
everybody already knows about the report button.
How about STOPPING it from happening in the first place? some people have suggested we ban India but obviously that’s not practical. Yahoo would be frowned upon by people all over because of political correctness.

A sure fire way to stop most if not all Spam on Yahoo Answers would be to issue a stern warning for first time spammers and delete their question or answer and if they do it again delete their account and block them from using any other accounts on yahoo!
The reason Yahoo doesn’t want to go to the extreme on spammers is it might scare some of the advertiser’s who place ads on Yahoo Answers and they might miss out on revenue that keeps this section of yahoo running, Yahoo has to walk a fine line and keep everything balanced they need to make us happy so we spend more time on here to increase viewer ship and they have to keep advertiser’s happy to increase revenue.
